Canterbury Shaker Village offers a variety of entertaining, educational and engaging experiences in one of the most beautiful and picturesque settings in northern New England.It’s dedicated to preserving the 200-year legacy of the Canterbury Shakers.This non profit museum was founded in 1969 and designated a National Historic Landmark for its architectural integrity and significance.Canterbury Shaker Village has 25 restored original Shaker buildings and four reconstructed Shaker buildings. You’ll enjoy almost 700 acres of forest, gardens, fields, nature trails and mill ponds.
Vintage Car Show at Canterbury Shaker Village
You can take advantage of guided or self guided tours, craft demonstrations, unique shopping, exceptional dining and special events. On Saturday, October 14, there’s even a Vintage Car Show—a real favorite at Tim’s Truck Capital.If you’ve got an antique car or motorcycle, you can even participate in this unique and family friendly car show and there’s no pre-registration or entry fee.The White Mountain Region Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America will also be on hand.
