Chevy Colorado Z71

While the Chevy Colorado is usually strong and sturdy enough to go off-road, the Z71 trim level makes upgrades that are specifically designed to optimize off road performance. The trim level adds an automatic locking rear differential, hill descent control, and an off road suspension package. It also makes available a 4x4 system that gives you more consistent power in any terrain.

Other exterior features on this trim level include halogen-projector headlights, heated sideview mirrors, recovery hooks, and a sliding rear window.

Inside, the seating is upgraded to either cloth or leather, and it gets more points of adjustment. Front seats are heated. Some interior upgrades on this trim level include wireless device charging, automatic climate control, an auto dimming rearview mirror, and a remote start system.

Chevy Colorado ZR2

The top trim level for the Chevy Colorado in recent years has been the ZR2. This trim level combines all of the features from the previous trim levels, and it adds a few extras. You get all the off roading features previously offered on the ZR2, as well as features like driver selectable full-locking front and rear differentials, an advanced multimatic damping system, increased suspension, and advanced trailering systems.

A turbocharged diesel engine is also available at this trim level, ensuring you have the most power for taking on trails and other rocky terrain. Four-wheel drive is also standard on this trim level.
