  • 6.2-liter V8 engine – The other engine that can be found in this SUV is a 6.2-liter V8 engine. This engine offers you more power at 420-horsepower. You get a 10-speed automatic transmission with this engine option. In terms of fuel efficiency, this engine can give you around 14 city and 23 highway miles per gallon.

In the GMC Yukon, you have standard rear-wheel drive, but there is four-wheel drive available, which can add some capability to your driving experience. You also have the option of an available Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension to make your driving and riding experience even more smooth.

This large SUV measures from 17 feet to 18 feet, 8 inches in length, depending on whether you go with the Yukon or Yukon XL. It has a curb weight that ranges from 5,379 to 5,965 pounds. Interior

You have the option of seating for nine with three rows of bench seating. You also have the option of seating for eight with front captain’s chairs and two rear bench seats. Your last option is the first two rows of captain’s chairs and the third row of bench seating.

Standard interior features include cloth upholstery and power-adjustable front seats. You do have optional upgrades like leather upholstery, heated seats, ventilated seats, and a heated steering wheel.

In terms of cargo space, the GMC Yukon vehicle offers you around 15.3 cubic feet behind that third row of seating. If you fold down that third row, you can get up to 51.7 cubic feet of cargo space. Finally, if you fold down the second and third rows of seating, you can get up to 94.7 cubic feet of space. This is plenty of room to carry larger items in your vehicle, but if you are looking for more space, you can check out the GMC Yukon XL. The XL is a longer vehicle with more cargo space. It has 39.3 cubic feet behind the third row, 76.7 cubic feet behind the second row, and 121.7 cubic feet behind the first row. There is a hands-free rear liftgate available to make it easier to load cargo.
