Mitsubishi Mirage

Mitsubishi Mirage

The Mitsubishi Mirage is an economical subcompact car with fairly generous standard features, a relatively spacious cabin, surprisingly large cargo room and outstanding fuel economy. Available as a hatchback or the G4 sedan, the Mirage offers inexpensive transportation, a pleasant interior, comfortable front row accommodations, important standard and available safety features and a 10-year warranty coverage program that's among the industry's best. Standard features like keyless entry, push-button start, electric power-assisted steering, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay make the Mirage a good
value.

A Refreshed Exterior

Mitsubishi gave the exterior of the 2021 Mirage a light styling refresh. It now has a large Dynamic Shield grille design, bold, sporty and more distinctive bumpers in front and rear, stylish new LED headlight designs, front fog lights, a refined, aerodynamic, body design, lip spoiler, wide back bumper, horizontal L-shaped LED taillights running across the rear, LED brake lights, a single stainless steel exhaust, 15-inch two-tone alloy wheels and a new more modernized, sporty stance. Together they give Mitsubishi's 2021 Mirage the planted, stable, visually-sharp appearance of its new design language.

Mitsubishi MirageAn Surprisingly Elegant Interior

The redesigned interior of the 2021 Mirage is surprisingly elegant, roomy, comfortable and has key infotainment and connectivity features. There's push-button start, a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone calls, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, four-speaker audio system, auxiliary input jack, front USB port and AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with integrated roof antenna. Cargo Space

The 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage has generous cargo room. When all of the seats are in place, it has a cargo capacity of 17 cubic feet. However, when its 60/40 split folding rear seats are lowered, its cargo space expands to about 47 cubic feet. This is among the largest cargo capacities for any car in its class. Add its in-floor storage, bins on the driver and passenger doors and cargo space lights and the 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage makes it easy to haul a week's worth of groceries, your children's sports or music gear or anything else you want to move back and forth.

The Mirage Powertrain

The Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback and G4 sedan are powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder MIVEC engine that is able to generate only 78 horsepower. Its modest horsepower output produces 74 pound-feet of torque. On the base model Mirage, the 3-cylinder engine is paired with a nice five-speed manual transmission. However, all of the other trims come with a continuously variable transmission. Together they produce astounding mileage per gallon of fuel. The powertrain on all of the Mitsubishi Mirage models is a front wheel drive.
