Now that we have talked a little bit about the Toyota Tundra and its configurations, let’s take a closer look at the trim options and the different features they offer you.
Your base trim option for the Toyota Tundra is the SR trim. This trim is only offered in the Double Cab body style, but you have your choice of a 6-foot-6-inch bed or an 8-foot-1-inch bed. You also have the choice between the 4.6-liter engine and the 5.7-liter engine to power your SR trim Tundra.
When it comes to features and technology, this vehicle has standard cloth seating, Bluetooth, six speakers, a USB port, an infotainment system with a 6.1-inch touchscreen, remote keyless entry, and a rearview camera. There are also some exterior features like heated side mirrors, 18-inch wheels, and halogen headlights that come with this trim level.
The Toyota Tundra is also a great truck because it offers you plenty of safety features standard on the base trim level. This truck gives you the Toyota Safety Sense P package standard. This package includes automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
This trim is a great option if you are looking for an affordable truck. This will be your most affordable Tundra, and it still has a lot of great features for you, like the standard safety technologies.
The next trim is the SR5. This trim is a good option if you are looking for more possible configurations for your truck. The trim above was only available with the one cab, but this trim can be found with the Double Cab or the CrewMax option. You also have the choice of all three bed lengths; you can get the two options discussed above, as well as the option of the 5-foot-6-inch bed.
When it comes to additional features for the Tundra SR5 trim, you have features like a larger 7-inch touchscreen, fog lights, satellite radio, and HD radio. If you want more choice for your bed and cab options, you might want to step up to the SR5 trim.
When you step up to the Limited trim, there are some changes. This trim option gives you the 5.7-liter V8 engine standard. You do have the choice of the Double Cab or CrewMax body, and you also have the choice of the two shorter bed options, but the long bed is not available on this trim.
You get some nice features added to the Limited trim. This vehicle steps up its interior features to give you added comfort with things like leather upholstery, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. There is also a navigation system that can help people know where they are going and not get lost. The Limited trim also gives you LED headlights and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The Limited trim is a great mid-level trim that gives you plenty of great features and technology, like heated seats and leather upholstery. It might be worth the upgrade if you are looking for those additional interior features.
The Platinum edition of the Toyota Tundra has a high-end look and feel. This is one of the more luxurious options of trim levels. With this trim, you have the CrewMax body standard and as your only option. You also get the 5-foot-6-inch bed as your only option. This vehicle also comes standard with the 5.7-liter V8 engine.
When you talk about the additional features on the Platinum trim, you get some safety features and some other interior features. The safety features that are added include blind spot monitoring and front and rear parking sensors. Your Tundra Platinum also gives you ventilated front seats and a 12-speaker stereo.
This special edition trim is different in terms of looks, but it shares most of the features from the Platinum trim discussed previously. This special edition gives you saddle brown leather upholstery and some unique styling features.
The Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is your off-road-ready Tundra trim. This vehicle comes standard with the CrewMax body and the 5.7-liter V8 engine. You also have the 5-foot-6-inch bed standard.
